...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM CDT THIS
MORNING FOR SOUTH CENTRAL BELL AND WEST CENTRAL MILAM COUNTIES...

At 708 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area. Between 2.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have
fallen in and around the Belton, Salado, and Holland areas. Flash
flooding is ongoing.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
         flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
         urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Killeen, Temple, Harker Heights, Belton, Nolanville, Salado,
  Little River-Academy, Holland, Stillhouse Hollow Lake, Belton
  Lake, Sparks, Union Grove, Prairie Dell, Woodland, Val Verde and
  Davilla.

This includes Interstate 35 between mile markers 278 and 296.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Dangerous flash flooding is occurring or is imminent. Do not attempt
to travel unless you are fleeing flood waters. If you are in an area
subject to flash flooding, move to higher ground now.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
