.DISCUSSION...

KEY MESSAGES:

1) Relatively quiet, warm and dry Saturday, with a disturbance
bringing a chance of showers or thunderstorms Saturday night
through Sunday night.

2) Stronger system moves through on Monday night bringing a better
chance for showers, thunderstorms and wetting rain.

3.) Warming trend starting middle of next week.

WEATHER PATTERN OVERVIEW:

Fast moving ridge moves through on Saturday bringing a dry and
pleasant day. A weak disturbance moves in Saturday night into
Sunday evening bringing a 20% to 40% chance of measurable rain,
although rainfall amounts are expected to be light.

A stronger system moves in Monday afternoon bringing a 60% to 80%
chance of measurable rain with probability of rainfall amounts
exceeding 0.25" by Tuesday afternoon ranging from 25% in the
south part of our CWA to 55% in the north part of our CWA.

After Tuesday a strong ridge builds in bringing a dry spell and
temperatures warming to above average by Thursday and Friday.

CONFIDENCE & DEVIATIONS:

High confidence in a quiet and dry day Saturday.

Medium confidence in the chance of precipitation and amounts Monday
night into Tuesday as well as the ridge building in the end of
next week bringing the warm and dry spell.

Low confidence in precipitation amounts Saturday night into
Sunday.
