Weather Summary for North-Central and Northeast Wisconsin
National Weather Service Green Bay WI
1052 AM CDT Fri May 24 2024

A band of showers and thunderstorms moved into central Wisconsin
this morning. Skies turned mostly cloudy over the entire region
as temperatures warmed into the upper 50s to middle 60s.

For the rest of today, the first band of showers and storms is
expected to diminish or end as it moves northeast into northeast
Wisconsin. A second round of showers and thunderstorms is expected
later this afternoon into this evening. Some of these storms could
become severe with damaging winds and hail. High temperatures should
reach the upper 60s to middle 70s.

Any shower or thunderstorm activity should end this evening across
much of the area, with a lingering chance of showers across far
northeast Wisconsin into early Saturday morning. Clouds will be on
the decrease tonight with lows in the upper 30s to middle 40s
north and in the 40s to lower 50 elsewhere.

High pressure is forecast to move across the area on Saturday and
bring the nicest day of the holiday weekend with mostly sunny to
partly cloudy skies. Highs on Saturday will be in the upper 60s
to lower 70s. A soaking rain is expected Sunday into Sunday
night with the chances of showers continuing on Memorial Day.
