...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN STEPHENS...EAST CENTRAL
HABERSHAM...SOUTH CENTRAL RABUN AND SOUTHWESTERN OCONEE COUNTIES
THROUGH 1000 PM EDT...
At 916 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6
miles north of Toccoa, or 4 miles southeast of Tallulah Falls, moving
east at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Toccoa, Tallulah Falls, Tallulah Gorge State Park, and Long Creek.
