Temperatures this morning across the central plains started out
in the 50s and 60s. Low shower and storm chances will exist for
much of the day across southeast Kansas and southern Missouri.
Otherwise, much of the region will remain dry, as afternoon highs
range from the low 70s across eastern Kansas and much of Missouri,
to near 90 degrees across portions of western Nebraska. For
tonight, quiet conditions continue, with forecast lows dipping
into the 40s and 50s.

For Saturday, much of the region will continue to remain dry, with
afternoon highs ranging from the low 70s across western Nebraska,
to the mid 90s across portions of southern Kansas and northern
Oklahoma. A few afternoon and evening thunderstorms are possible
over central and northeast Kansas, with better chances over
northwest and northern Kansas, eastern Colorado, and Nebraska
during the evening and overnight. Lows Saturday night will be in
the 50s and 60s.
