Partly cloudy skies with scattered showers and thunderstorms
occurred during the night. Overnight lows ranged from the mid 70s
in Southeast Kansas to the upper 60s in Northwest Kansas. Winds
have been light and variable outside of thunderstorms.

Today will be mostly sunny and hot. Afternoon highs will range
from the mid and upper 90s in Northern Oklahoma and Southern
Kansas to the low 80s and upper 70s in Northern Kansas and
Southern Nebraska. Showers and thunderstorms, some of them severe,
are likely this afternoon starting in Western Kansas and will move
to the east during the late afternoon.

Tonight will be partly to mostly cloudy with showers and
thunderstorms likely. Severe thunderstorms are also a possibility
in Eastern Kansas and Western Missouri. Overnight lows will range
from near 70 in Northern Oklahoma to near 60 in Northern Kansas.
Winds will shift to the north and northeast during the night
ranging from 10 to 15 mph.
