Mostly clear and mild conditions have dominated the overnight.
Overnight lows have ranged from the upper 60s in Northern Kansas
to near 70 in Southern Kansas. Winds have been light and variable.

Today will be partly cloudy and hot. Afternoon highs will range
from the upper 80s in Northeast Oklahoma and Arkansas to the mid
90s in Western Kansas. There will be a chance for some showers and
thunderstorms, some severe, in northern Kansas this afternoon and
evening. Winds will be brisk and out of the south ranging from 15
to 25 mph.

Tonight will be partly cloudy with chance for showers and
thunderstorms in Northern Kansas. Overnight lows will range from
the low 70s in Northern Oklahoma and Arkansas to the low 60s in
Northwest Kansas and Eastern Colorado. Winds will be out of the
south ranging from 10 to 20 mph.
