Pesky showers and embedded thunderstorms impacted most of
eastern Kansas today along with scattered showers and isolated
storms over the rest of the state. Under mostly clear to partly
cloudy skies temperatures were able to warm in the mid 70s to
around 80 degrees across western Kansas while on the eastern side
of the state where skies were mostly cloudy where afternoon
temperatures only reached into the mid 60s to mid 70s.

Scattered showers and storms will continue in the forecast for
tonight. Storms are expected to redevelop across western Kansas
and track eastward into parts of central Kansas during the night.
Showers and thunderstorms will also affect eastern Colorado,
panhandle of Oklahoma, eastern Nebraska, and Missouri overnight.
Lows will range from the 50s to the low 60s.

On Saturday skies will be partly to mostly cloudy with scattered
showers and possible thunderstorms in north central and south
central Kansas. Afternoon highs will range range from the mid 70s
to near 80 across the region.
