...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN ITAWAMBA...
SOUTHEASTERN LEE AND NORTHEASTERN MONROE COUNTIES THROUGH 715 PM
CDT...

At 637 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Smithville, or near Amory, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Amory, Smithville, Evergreen, Nettleton, Hatley, Gattman, Sipsey
Fork, Quincy, Turon, Splunge, Bigbee, Parham, Richmond, and Jacinto.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
northeastern Mississippi.
