...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN LAFAYETTE COUNTY
THROUGH 615 PM CDT...

At 549 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Oxford, moving southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Oxford, Tula, Denmark, Taylor, Altus, Delay, and Yocona.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
northeastern and northwestern Mississippi.
