...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN ITAWAMBA AND CENTRAL
LEE COUNTIES THROUGH 815 PM CDT...

At 744 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Saltillo, or near Tupelo, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Tupelo, Fulton, Saltillo, Guntown, Mantachie, Tremont, Sandy Springs,
Fairview, Pratts Friendship, Clay, Beech Springs, Skyline, Eastman,
Chapelville, Mooreville, Eggville, Kirkville, Frog Island, Unity, and
Bounds Crossroads.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
northeastern Mississippi.
