...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL PONTOTOC AND
CENTRAL LEE COUNTIES THROUGH 745 PM CDT...

At 707 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Furrs, or over Trace State Park, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Tupelo, Trace State Park, Saltillo, Furrs, Chesterville, Beech
Springs, Skyline, Belden, Indian Hills, Flowerdale, and Bissell.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
northeastern Mississippi.
