.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front draped NE from Saint Simons Island
to E of Hatteras Canyon today will remain in place through Thu
night before diminishing on Fri. Low pressure will form along the
front off the SE coast tonight and then lift slowly NE along the
front, moving NE of the waters by Wed morning. A weak trough will
remain in place across the waters Fri night. A cold front will
approach the far northern waters late Fri night. The NAVTEX
transmitter in Chesapeake Virginia is offline until further
notice. Technicians are aware of the problem and are working to
have it repaired.
