Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Weak surface ridging over the Gulf waters will
support light to gentle winds and slight seas across much of the
basin into Thu. A cold front moving through the NE Gulf will lead
to moderate NE winds across the basin Thu through Fri. Little
change is expected on Sat.

.TODAY...S to SW winds less than 5 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.TONIGHT...E winds less than 5 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms.
.THU...N winds less than 5 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms.
.THU NIGHT...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
Scattered showers and isolated tstms.
.FRI...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.FRI NIGHT...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...The pressure gradient between high pressure centered
near 26N68W and the Colombian low will continue to support pulsing
fresh trades off the coast of Hispaniola through Thu. Otherwise,
gentle to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas will prevail
across the rest of the basin.

.TODAY...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and SW to W less than
5 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 to 4 ft.
.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 5 kt, shifting to S after midnight. Seas
3 ft. Numerous showers and scattered tstms.
.THU...SE to S winds less than 5 kt S of 27N, and SW to W 5 to
10 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 ft. Numerous showers and scattered tstms.
.THU NIGHT...S of 27N, SE winds less than 5 kt. N of 27N, SE
winds less than 5 kt, shifting to S to SW after midnight. Seas
2 ft or less, building to 3 ft after midnight. Scattered tstms.
.FRI...NW winds less than 5 kt, shifting to NE to E in the
afternoon. Seas 3 ft in NE to E swell.
.FRI NIGHT...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft in the evening,
subsiding to 2 ft or less.
.SAT...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
