Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Weak high pressure will dominate the Gulf waters
supporting generally light to gentle winds and slight seas most
of the work-week. A stationary front over the NE Gulf will
dissipate on Tue. Locally moderate to fresh winds may pulse in
the Bay of Campeche nightly through the middle of the week. A
cold front moving through the Gulf late week will support
moderate NE winds across the basin.

.TONIGHT...NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms.
.TUE...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Numerous
showers and scattered tstms.
.TUE NIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
tstms.
.WED...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.WED NIGHT...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.THU...E winds less than 5 kt, shifting to N in the afternoon.

.SYNOPSIS...Rough seas, generated by Potential Tropical Cyclone
Eight located N of the area, will continue to affect the waters
N of 29N and W of 76W this evening. Then, seas will subside to
less than 8 ft by tonight. Moderate to locally fresh E to SE
winds will pulse off the coast of Hispaniola through the middle
of the week. Elsewhere, moderate to fresh NE winds and rough seas
will develop north of 25N and east of 60W on Tue as a surface low
currently located near 30N49W strengthens. Otherwise, gentle to
moderate winds and slight to moderate seas will prevail across the
rest of the basin.

.TONIGHT...S of 27N, E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. N of 27N, NE winds
less than 5 kt, shifting to SE after midnight. Seas 3 to 4 ft.
Scattered showers and isolated tstms.
.TUE...SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and E to SE 5 to 10 kt N of
27N. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Numerous showers and scattered tstms.
.TUE NIGHT...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered
tstms.
.WED...SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SW 5 to 10 kt N of 27N.
Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered showers and isolated tstms.
.WED NIGHT...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft in the evening,
subsiding to 2 ft or less.
.THU...SW winds less than 5 kt, shifting to NW to N in the
afternoon. Seas 2 ft or less.
.THU NIGHT...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to S after
midnight. Seas 2 ft or less.
.FRI...SW winds less than 5 kt, shifting to E in the afternoon.
