...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHERN OTTAWA...REPUBLIC...
WASHINGTON...NORTHWESTERN CLAY AND CLOUD COUNTIES THROUGH 1230 AM
CDT...

At 1139 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 4 miles west of Gilead to 5 miles southeast of
Norway to 4 miles east of Barnard. Movement was east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow
         around unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Concordia, Minneapolis, Belleville, Washington, Clyde, Clifton,
Miltonvale, Glasco, Linn, Scandia, Delphos, Jamestown, Courtland,
Morganville, Cuba, Morrowville, Norway, Wells, Republic, and Palmer.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
