At 228 PM, National Weather Service radar detected a large area of
showers and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain mostly in Pushmataha
and Choctaw counties in Oklahoma. Movement was to the east at around
40 mph. The average amount where it rained last hour was around one
quarter of an inch with maximum amounts of an inch and a half to two
inches. Coverage and intensity remained about the same as last hour.
The Tulsa area forecast for late this afternoon, mostly cloudy, a
slight chance of showers and thunderstorms with temperatures 70 to
75 degrees and northeast winds 5 to 15 mph.
