for Northeast South Carolina and Southeast North Carolina
National Weather Service Wilmington NC
305 AM EDT Thu May 30 2024

.DISCUSSION...
A dry cold frontal passage early this morning will be followed
with dry high pressure ridging in from the Great Lakes. Mid-level
trof axis will swing across the area early Fri followed by re-
enforcing dry high pressure from the Great Lakes. This will bring
below normal temps Fri thru the weekend. The center of this high
will slide overhead and off the SE States Coast early next week
with a warming trend to ensue along with isolated convection
possible.

Wind profile analysis/fire control over flat terrain is Favorable.

Fog potential for tonight is None.
