...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE LOCAL ATLANTIC WATERS...

The areas affected include...
  Atlantic Waters of Puerto Rico AND USVI from 10 NM to 19.5N...
  Coastal Waters OF Northwestern Puerto Rico out 10 NM...

At 936 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorm, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots and frequent lightning.
Waterspouts are possible. These thunderstorm were located over the
local Atlantic waters at about 20 nautical miles northwest of
Aguadilla, moving northeast at 10 knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until this storm passes.

Intense lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the open
water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded metal
objects.

Report severe weather to the Coast Guard or nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
forecast office.
