Surface relative humidity values drop into the 30 percent range in the afternoon. The far east plains will stay more elevated than that. Breezy winds expected across the east plains with gusts up to 30 mph. Scattered thunderstorms likely this afternoon, developing in the mountains then moving east onto the plains through the early evening hours. Smoke dispersal will range from Good-Very Good through the early afternoon. LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Tuesday through Friday...Warmer and drier conditions are expected Tuesday, with fewer thunderstorms.
