...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 130 AM CDT FOR
SOUTHEASTERN COWLEY AND SOUTHERN CHAUTAUQUA COUNTIES...
At 1237 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 7 miles southeast of Cedar Vale, moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado and golf ball size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.
This dangerous storm will be near...
Elgin around 1245 AM CDT.
Chautauqua around 1255 AM CDT.
