.DISCUSSION...Dry conditions prevail over the burn area through much of
the upcoming week, with warming temperatures through at least
Thursday. Tuesday will feature a weak area of high pressure over
Utah which will support light terrain driven flows on slopes, with
light west to northwest flow on exposed ridges. Aligned slopes
(westerly exposure) could see occasional wind gusts up to 15 mph.
Temperatures will be similar to the day prior (increasing by
around 1 degree) but the environment will be about 5-7 percent
drier under mostly clear skies.

Wednesday will feature increasingly strong surface high pressure
which will allow for further warming and drying of the environment.
Will see the most substantial warming by Wednesday as temperatures
at all elevations warm by 5-7 degrees. Slopes flows will dominate
the wind patterns for the day, however, exposed south to southwest
facing slopes and ridges will see potential for winds gusting up to
around 20 mph during the afternoon. Mid and upper-level cloud cover
will also be on the increase during the afternoon, which may limit
solar insolation over the burn area.
