...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT REPUBLIC...WASHINGTON AND
MARSHALL COUNTIES THROUGH 330 AM CDT...

At 239 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 3 miles northwest of Norway to near Munden to
near Hanover. Movement was east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow
         around unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Marysville, Belleville, Washington, Blue Rapids, Frankfort, Hanover,
Waterville, Linn, Axtell, Scandia, Greenleaf, Courtland, Beattie,
Barnes, Summerfield, Cuba, Morrowville, Norway, Republic, and
Vermillion.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 AM CDT for
north central and northeastern Kansas.
