At 1142 PM, National Weather Service radar detected scattered
showers and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain mostly east of
highway 69 in Oklahoma and in northwest Arkansas, also north of I44
and east of highway 75 and also in Arkansas west of I49.
Thunderstorms with locally heavy rain were located in Craig, Rogers
and Nowata counties in Oklahoma. Movement was to the east at greater
than 40 mph. The average amount where it rained last hour was one
tenth to one quarter of an inch with maximum amounts of an inch and
a half to two inches. Coverage, and intensity increased during the
last hour. The Tulsa area forecast for overnight, mostly cloudy then
becoming partly cloudy, a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Some
thunderstorms may be severe .
