This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a portion of eastern Kentucky.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Thunderstorms will be possible at times through tonight. There is
a chance that some storms could become strong late this afternoon and
early this evening, containing small hail and strong wind gusts.
Locally heavy rain is also possible, which may cause minor flooding
issues.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Thunderstorms are expected at times through this weekend. Though an
isolated severe storm is possible Friday with damaging winds and
large hail the primary threats, the greatest risk of severe
thunderstorms will arrive Sunday into Sunday night, with damaging
winds, large hail, and isolated tornadoes as threats. The threat for
severe storms may extend into parts of Monday before ending. Locally
heavy rain from repeat rounds of thunderstorms through this weekend
may cause primarily localized flooding.

Spotter activation is not expected before Sunday.
