A mix of snow, freezing rain, and rain is found across eastern
Montana and the Dakotas this morning. Low temperatures are from 5
below in northeastern Minnesota, up to the upper 30s in
southwestern South Dakota. A general transition to all rain and
snow is expected late this afternoon and evening. High
temperatures this afternoon are forecast from the lower teens
northeast to the lower 60s southwest.

An active winter weather pattern will continue through the
weekend. An area of snow, freezing rain, and rain is expected
through Thursday across eastern Montana and much of the Dakotas.
Yet another system will then bring snow to mainly the western
Dakotas and eastern Montana Friday into Saturday. Well below
average temperatures are also expected over most of the region
Thursday night through Sunday morning, before moderating next work
week.
