.DISCUSSION...
Issued at 1223 AM CST Thu Dec 11 2025

Near normal temperatures are expected Thursday before another
warming trend begins Thursday night into Friday. Above normal
temperatures will return Friday and continue through early this
weekend before our next front sweeps across the region late this
weekend. Confidence is increasing in terms of timing, however, the
strength of the front is still a bit cloudy. At the minimum, at
least near normal temperatures will be expected in the wake of the
cold front. Due to limited moisture, rain chances for the rest of
this work week and beginning of the weekend will be near zero.
However, moisture will increase ahead of the front with low to
medium (20-50%) rain chances returning Sunday. While moisture levels
overall will be on the low end, sufficient low level moisture will
be in place to support fog development during the overnight and
early morning hours beginning Thursday night. This includes sea fog
as well if light winds and cooler shelf waters persist.

.AVIATION...
(18Z TAFS)
Issued at 1126 AM CST Thu Dec 11 2025

VFR conditions will prevail through the evening hours. Beginning
around 05-07Z, areas of fog will start to set in across our
eastern sites, with many models signaling it spreading farther
inland to our western sites by 09-10Z. IFR/LIFR conditions will be
likely at times, with VSBYs dropping to 1SM or less through mid-
morning on Friday. By then, any fog that develops should begin to
dissipate. MVFR CIGs may linger through late morning into the
early afternoon before improving to VFR levels through Friday
evening.

.MARINE...
Issued at 1223 AM CST Thu Dec 11 2025

A gentle to moderate northeast breeze (BF 3-4) will continue the
the morning hours before shifting to the south to southeast
Thursday night. Winds Friday will weaken to light to gentle (BF
2-3) levels and remain light through Saturday night before
restrengthening and shifting to the northeast in the wake of our
next front. Rain chances will remain below 10% through Friday
before increasing to low to medium (25-50%) Friday night through
the weekend.

.FIRE WEATHER...
Issued at 1223 AM CST Thu Dec 11 2025

Minimum relative humidity values will dip below 30% through Thursday
across portions of the Brush Country. However, due to generally low
ERCs in the 50-70th percentile and weak winds of 5-10 mph, elevated
fire weather conditions remain negligible at this time.
