Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
435 PM EST Wed Dec 10 2025

Precipitation for the remainder of this afternoon and the
beginning of the evening will remain light across the state. Light
snow has transitioned to rain or a light wintry mix for most south
of I-80. North of I-80 remains below freezing, but any additional
snow accumulations will be light as the steady precipitation moves
off to the east.

In the wake of this steady wintry precipitation, a 24 to 30 hour
period of upslope and lake effect snow showers, some heavy at
times, is possible later tonight through Thursday across portions
of Northern and Western Pennsylvania, where winter weather
advisories are in effect today into Thursday. Some of the long,
narrow bands of lake effect snow will reach the Lower and Mid
Susquehanna Valley on Thursday. Gusty winds will prevail as well,
with peak gusts of 30 to 45 mph from the west or northwest
expected on Thursday.

Lows tonight will vary from the teens across the north and west
to the mid 20s across the southeast. Highs tomorrow will largely
remain below freezing except for the extreme southeast portions of
Pennsylvania near the Philadelphia metro and the Lower
Susquehanna Valley where highs could sneak into the mid 30s.
