Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service Wichita KS
502 PM CDT Sat Nov 1 2025

Quiet conditions were observed over the Heartland this afternoon
with light winds and mostly clear skies from South Dakota to the Red
River Valley. Afternoon high temperatures ranged from the 40s and
50s across Nebraska and Kansas to the 60s across Oklahoma. Except
for a few showers in Missouri, most of the area remained dry for the
first day of November.

Chilly temperatures will return to the Central Plains tonight as low
temperatures in the upper 20s and 30s prevail from South Dakota to
Oklahoma. Light southerly winds and mostly clear to partly cloudy
skies are forecast heading into the morning hours as rain chances
shift to the east of the Mississippi River.

Above-normal temperatures are forecast across the western halves of
Nebraska, Kansas, and Oklahoma for Sunday with readings expected to
reach the 70s and even low 80s by afternoon. Highs in the 50s and
60s are forecast in the eastern half of the region as clear skies
and breezy south winds dominate the scene over Middle America.
