Tonight, precipitation chances increase after midnight for inland southeast Georgia as a front approaches from the northwest. With decent moisture and calm winds overnight, another round of early morning patchy fog is likely across northeast Florida and portions of inland southeast Georgia. Highest chances for locally dense fog will be near the I-75 corridor and north central Florida. Low temperatures tonight will be in the upper 50s to low 60s. && .SHORT TERM... (Saturday through Sunday night) Issued at 1217 PM EST Fri Nov 7 2025 Potential for early morning fog developments this weekend with a relatively dry frontal passage pressing through the region on Sunday, however the potential for embedded thunderstorms building along with scattered showers cannot be ruled out at this time. Inland southeast Georgia will have the highest probability for convection on Sunday afternoon with conditions drying out overnight. High daytime temperatures for the weekend will rise into the lower to mid 80s with overnight low temperatures dropping sharply down into the 40s and 50s on Sunday as cold air following the frontal passage settles in over the forecast area. && .LONG TERM... (Monday through next Friday) Issued at 1217 PM EST Fri Nov 7 2025 Gusty northwesterly winds will build over the region on Monday following the frontal passage with high pressure conditions dominating the weather pattern through the week with dry weather, clearing skies, mild winds, and colder temperatures. Below normal temperatures will be in place for the beginning of the week with temps gradually warming to be closer to the seasonal average after midweek. && .AVIATION... (18Z TAFS) Issued at 1217 PM EST Fri Nov 7 2025 VFR conditions and light winds through the rest of the day. Inland fog is likely late tonight into early Saturday morning, mainly impacting GNV and VQQ, for now have MVFR visibilities in the TAFs. && .MARINE... Issued at 1217 PM EST Fri Nov 7 2025 Southwesterly winds will develop on Saturday ahead of a strong cold front that will be entering the southeastern U.S.. Isolated showers will be possible ahead of this front on Sunday afternoon and evening. This strong front will cross our local waters during the overnight and predawn hours on Monday, with westerly winds strengthening after midnight and then shifting to northwesterly by sunrise, with Small Craft Advisory conditions quickly overspreading our local waters. Strong high pressure building into the southeastern states on Monday will result in occasional Gale Force wind gusts through Monday night. High pressure will shift eastward and will become centered directly over our local waters by midweek, allowing for winds and seas to gradually diminish. Rip Currents: Onshore winds Saturday afternoon in the wake of the inland moving Atlantic sea breeze may allow for a lower end moderate risks at the northeast FL beaches. Low surf heights will maintain a low overall risk at the southeast GA beaches through the weekend. Gradually strengthening southwesterly winds on Sunday will yield a low risk at all area beaches. && .CLIMATE...
