Fire Weather Planning Forecast for S MS and SE LA
National Weather Service New Orleans LA
1127 AM CST Sat Nov 8 2025

.DISCUSSION...

**Patchy Dense Fog is likely across coastal LA, southern MS as
well as the Florida Parishes.**

Moist regime continues until arctic front moves through on
Sunday. It will bring strong northerly winds and much colder,
drier air to the region Monday through Wednesday. Min RH values
will be at critically low levels (below 30%) on Monday and
Tuesday with breezy conditions expected to persist through Monday
which will elevate the risk for wildfires.
