349 FZUS61 KBUF 160202 GLFLO Open Lake Forecast for Lake Ontario National Weather Service Buffalo NY 1002 PM EDT Sun Jun 15 2025 For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS...A 30.2 inch high will remain off the New England coast tonight. A frontal boundary will remain stalled south of the lower Great Lakes through Monday as a weak 29.9 inch low moves from the Ohio Valley to the Mid Atlantic. Another 29.6 inch low will then push northeast across the upper Great Lakes Tuesday, followed by a 29.5 inch low forecast to track across the central Great Lakes and Quebec Wednesday through Thursday. A 30.2 inch high will move into the Great Lakes region Friday.
