.SHORT TERM...
(Rest of today through Tuesday)
Issued at 1155 AM CST Mon Nov 10 2025

As promised last night, a cold, blustery day is underway across
Middle TN. Scattered snow showers are also being seen across the
area and just about everybody has seen some of the white stuff
falling this morning. Our elevated areas (Plateau) have seen the
worst of it, with several roads being covered for short periods of
time and causing some isolated travel issues. With light signatures
over the area and more expected to enter from KY through the
afternoon hours, we will continue to run the Winter Weather Advisory
through 6 pm this evening. Current NBM probs suggest at least a
medium chance of up to an inch in the advisory area, especially for
areas like Monterrey, Jamestown and points in between. However,
there is a low probability (10-20%) of up to 2 inches before the
falling snowflakes exit to the east this evening. While this may
have some minor travel impacts, we are also expecting to have
additional cold air advection tonight and our first hard freeze of
the season. Overnight lows in the low to mid 20s will be common
place across Middle TN, with some teens on the Plateau come Tuesday
morning. Take necessary precautions to protect pipes other sensitive
items, as well as check on the elderly and bring your pets inside
tonight.

We`ll see a little relief in the way of temperatures tomorrow, but
it will continue to be breezy as this current system holds a
tightened pressure gradient across the mid-state. While many will
climb into the low 50s as the sun returns, feels-like temperatures
will remain in the 40s (30s on the Plateau).

.LONG TERM...
(Tuesday Night through next Monday)
Issued at 1155 AM CST Mon Nov 10 2025

A reprieve from the chilly conditions is on the way. Temperatures
will rebound nicely starting Wednesday and by Thursday and Friday,
all will be above normal. Low 70s/upper 60s will be seen right
through Saturday.

Of course, it`s November and secondary severe weather season here in
Middle TN, so if we see a warmup like this, we can assume our
next weather maker isn`t far behind. Right now, specifics are a
little blurry, but we are looking at the potential for a late-
weekend system bringing rain and some storms back to the area.
More on that throughout the upcoming week.
