.SYNOPSIS...
The transition to active weather is underway as a series of
systems will reintroduce rain and windy conditions today through
the end of the week. A more significant atmospheric river event
is gaining forecast traction early next week for more widespread
rain and potential hydrologic impacts.

.IMPACTS...Stormy weather will create difficult backcountry
skiing and mountaineering conditions across much of the alpine
terrain of Mt. Rainier, including the Muir snowfield. Blizzard-
like conditions with strong winds and near zero visibility are
likely. A high level of skill and experience in alpine terrain,
including use of GPS, is recommended for navigation and camping in
these conditions.

3 inches. Snow level near 6500 feet.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...Rain and snow. Snow accumulation near Paradise
up to 1 inch. Total snow accumulation near Paradise up to
4 inches. Snow level near 7000 feet.
.FRIDAY...Rain and snow. Rain may be heavy at times in the
morning. Little or no snow accumulation near Paradise. Snow level
near 7500 feet.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...Breezy. Rain and snow. Snow may be heavy at times
after midnight. Heavy snow accumulations. Snow level near
5000 feet.
.SATURDAY...Rain and snow. Snow may be heavy at times. Heavy snow
accumulations. Snow level near 4500 feet.
