THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR THE TEXAS AND OKLAHOMA
PANHANDLES.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

A WINTRY MIX IS EXPECTED THIS MORNING BEFORE TRANSITIONING TO MOSTLY
RAIN BY THE AFTERNOON. SNOW WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE WESTERN TEXAS
AND OKLAHOMA PANHANDLES...A WINTRY MIX OF RAIN AND SNOW THROUGH THE
CENTRAL PANHANDLES...AND RAIN ACROSS THE FAR SOUTHEASTERN TEXAS
PANHANDLE. ADDITIONAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF UP TO 1 INCH ARE POSSIBLE
FOR THE WESTERN PANHANDLES. ELSEWHERE...LITTLE TO NO SNOW IS
EXPECTED TO ACCUMULATE. THERE REMAINS SOME UNCERTAINTY AS SMALL
CHANGES IN TEMPERATURES COULD DRASTICALLY AFFECT THE PRECIPITATION
TYPE THUS INCREASING OR DECREASING TOTALS. TRAVEL ON BRIDGES AND
OVERPASSES MAY BECOME SLICK.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

AN ARCTIC SURGE OF COLD AIR NEAR TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY IS EXPECTED
TO BRING MUCH COLDER TEMPERATURES...BREEZY WINDS...NEAR ADVISORY
WIND CHILLS...AND POSSIBLY ANOTHER ROUND OF SNOW FOR THE OKLAHOMA AND
NORTH TEXAS PANHANDLES.
