THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR THE TEXAS AND OKLAHOMA
PANHANDLES.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED DURING THIS PERIOD.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

PREDOMINATELY EXPECT FREEZING RAIN AND RAIN TO OCCUR BETWEEN FRIDAY
THROUGH SUNDAY. THE GREATEST AMOUNTS OF ICE ACCUMULATION ARE EXPECTED
IN THE NORTHEASTERN PANHANDLES...WHICH IS THE LOCATION OF THE ICE
STORM WARNING...AND LESS ICE EXPECTED FOR EVERYWHERE ELSE...WHICH IS
WHERE THE FREEZING RAIN ADVISORY IS. THERE WILL BE PERIODS WHERE THE
AREA MAY WARM UP DURING THE DAY BUT THEN DROP BACK TO FREEZING RAIN
OVERNIGHT. HEAVY RAIN IS EXPECTED ON SUNDAY AND THEN LIGHT AMOUNTS
OF SNOW ARE EXPECTED SUNDAY NIGHT INTO MONDAY WITH THE MAJORITY
FALLING IN THE OKLAHOMA PANHANDLE.

EMERGENCY OFFICIALS SHOULD BE ALERT FOR ELEVATED SURFACES TO FREEZE
FIRST AND THEN OTHER SURFACES TO FREEZE AFTERWARDS...MAKING TRAVEL
