THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF OKLAHOMA AND
TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED ACROSS THE
PANHANDLES TODAY. A FEW OF THESE STORMS COULD BECOME STRONG PRODUCING
VERY HEAVY RAINFALL AND GUSTY WINDS...BUT THE THREAT FOR SEVERE STORMS
IS MINIMAL. WHILE OVERALL COVERAGE OF STORMS IS EXPECTED TO BE
LOW...ANY ISOLATED STORMS THAT IMPACT THE AMARILLO AREA COULD CAUSE
ADDITIONAL FLOODING AS PLAYA LAKES ARE MOSTLY AT MAXIMUM CAPACITY OR
ALREADY FLOODED. AREAL FLOOD WARNINGS REMAIN IN EFFECT FOR THE
ONGOING PLAYA LAKE FLOODING ISSUES.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE EACH DAY MAINLY ACROSS THE
NORTHWEST HALF OF THE TEXAS PANHANDLE AND THE OKLAHOMA PANHANDLE.
THESE STORMS COULD BE STRONG PRODUCING TORRENTIAL DOWNPOURS AND GUSTY
WINDS. ORGANIZED SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE NOT ANTICIPATED AT THIS
TIME. LATE AFTERNOON AND EVENING WILL GENERALLY BE THE PEAK
THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY.
