This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Texas and Oklahoma

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Thunderstorms are possible tonight across the Panhandles, with
some storms capable of being strong to severe. Main threats with
these thunderstorms will be hail up to the size of golf balls and
winds up to 60 mph. The area with the greatest risk of severe
weather would be across the eastern Texas Panhandle. A Severe
Thunderstorm Watch is in effect for portions of the eastern Texas
Panhandle until 5 AM CDT Friday morning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Thunderstorms are possible across the Panhandles favoring the
northern and eastern counties, with most expected to occur during
the early morning to midday hours. Some of these storms could be
strong to marginally severe, with hail up to the size of quarters
being the main hazard.

Late Saturday night there will be the potential for a late season
frost as temperatures get down around 33 to 36 degrees under
clear skies and light winds across the Oklahoma and portions of
the Texas Panhandles. Any sensitive vegetation may be susceptible
to damage.

Elevated fire weather conditions may be possible across the
western and central parts of the Panhandles Monday and Tuesday
due to breezy winds and low relative humidities. Elevated fire
weather conditions may occur Wednesday and Thursday, though that
will be dependent on whether precipitation falls on both days.

Emergency managers and spotter groups should be ready for
activation tonight and early Friday.
