This hazardous weather outlook is for northern Lower Michigan...
eastern Upper Michigan...and adjacent nearshore waters of Lake
Michigan...Lake Huron and Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...Rest of today and tonight.

Very gusty southwest winds will continue today in much of northern
Michigan, and in particular near Lake Michigan and Saginaw Bay.

Gale force wind gusts will continue through tonight across all of
the northern Michigan nearshore waters. Please see the latest
marine headlines and forecasts for additional information.

Accumulating lake effect snow will begin this afternoon, and
continue through tonight. Heavy snow is expected tonight over
portions of far northern lower Michigan, along with blowing and
drifting snow. Please see the latest winter weather warnings and
advisories for details.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Lake effect snow continues Wednesday and Wednesday night, though
changing wind directions will alter where better accumulations
occur. Better snowfall totals will develop in northwest Chippewa
County in eastern upper Michigan, and will migrate south toward
Mancelona and Gaylord in northern lower Michigan. Please see the
