...Strong Thunderstorms over Western Iowa...

At 636 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles northwest of Audubon, moving northeast at 20 mph.

Pea to dime sized hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be
possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Carroll, Audubon, Manning, Coon Rapids, Glidden, Exira, Adair, Elk
Horn, Casey, Templeton, Kimballton, Dedham, Halbur, Lidderdale,
Brayton, Willey, Gray, Arthur N Neu Airport, Manning Municipal
Airport and Audubon County Airport.


Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
