...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southwestern DeWitt,
Karnes and southeastern Wilson Counties through 130 PM CDT...

At 1238 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Falls City, or 7 miles south of Poth, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Floresville, Karnes City, Poth, Kosciusko, Runge, Falls City,
Nordheim, Gillett, Cestohowa, Cotton Patch, New Davy, Paweleville,
Hobson, Ecleto, Deweesville, Helena, and Pana Maria.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 400 PM CDT for
south central Texas.
