Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co

.Discussion...

One more round of showers and thunderstorms expected today with
heavy snow impacting portions of the central mountains through this
morning. Thunderstorms will develop across the plains this afternoon.
The weather will dry out and warm up for Monday and Tuesday though
there will be rounds of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms
in and near the mountains each day. Another uptick in precipitation
will come Wednesday and Wednesday night with the next storm system.
This will cool temperatures down through Thursday then bringing another
drying and warming trend for Friday into next weekend.

Afternoon dispersions will become fair to good for most areas this
afternoon, though pockets of very good will be possible across
the central mountains and southern portions of the plains for a
brief time. Monday will see good or better afternoon dispersions
district wide.
