...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 330 PM CDT
FOR NORTHWESTERN SMITH AND SOUTHEASTERN FRANKLIN COUNTIES...

At 308 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Franklin to 11 miles south of Bloomington to near
Kensington, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Trained weather spotters.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

These severe storms will be near...
  Franklin around 315 PM CDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for north central
Kansas...and south central Nebraska.

building.
