This hazardous weather outlook is for eastern Utah and western

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Isolated to scattered rain and snow showers are expected over the
northern and portions of the central Colorado mountains this
morning. This activity is expected to spread into the southern
mountains and increase in coverage and intensity this afternoon
then continue into this evening. A few embedded thunderstorms are
possible. Lower elevations of the north may see some isolated
showers and today through this evening. Snow levels will range
from from 9500 to 10000 feet. Accumulations are expected to be
light and localized.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Periodic disturbances in northwest flow will bring additional
showers, mainly to northwest Colorado, off and on through the
early part of the coming week. Afternoon/evening thunderstorms
are possible each day. Thunderstorm chances increase later this
week with the approach of a storm system from the west.


Spotter activation will not be needed.
