This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Kansas,
south central Kansas, southwest Kansas, and west central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Wind chill temperatures will be in the -10 to -15 degree range for a
few hours early this morning with conditions improving by 9 AM CST.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Elevated fire weather conditions are expected to develop through
the remainder of this week as temperatures warm back into the 60s
and 70s by Friday.

A storm system moving out over the central Plains this weekend
could bring some light snow to parts of west central and southwest
Kansas on Sunday. At this time it appears that only a few inches
of snow will be possible across central and west central Kansas.


Spotter activation will not be needed this afternoon or tonight.
