This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...south
central...southwest and west central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Day 1 Discussion

Scattered strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible late
this afternoon and early tonight. Some of the stronger storms
will be capable of producing wind gusts up to 70 mph, half dollar
size hail, and periods of heavy rainfall late today. An isolated
tornado can not be completely ruled out. Early tonight the chance
for large hail will decrease but strong gusty winds and heavy
rainfall will still be possible.

* Thunderstorm wind damage: Limited risk
* Lightning: Elevated risk

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Days 2-7 Discussion

The chance for thunderstorms will be possible almost each day
from Thursday through early next week. Some of these stronger
storms late this week and over the weekend may be capable of
producing hail, strong winds, and heavy rainfall. At this exactly
where and when the opportunity of these stronger storms will occur
remains uncertain.

Spotter activation may be required this afternoon and early
tonight, especially west of a Wakeneey to Garden City to Liberal
