This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...south
central...southwest and west central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Day 1 Discussion
Limited fire weather conditions can be expected Saturday afternoon
as relative humidity values bottom out in the 15 to 20 percent
range west of a Larned to Ashland line.

Day 1 Hazards
* Fire weather: Limited risk

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Days 2-7 Discussion

There will be a chance for rain showers along with a few
thunderstorms Sunday night. At this time the main hazard from the
thunderstorms will be cloud to ground lightning.

Unseasonably warm temperatures and low afternoon relative
humidity values can be expected from Tuesday through Thursday.
Wind speeds are expected to be less than 20 mph Tuesday and
Wednesday. Stronger winds are possible Thursday which will favor
increasing fire danger levels Thursday afternoon.

  - Lightning: Limited risk
