This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...south
central...southwest and west central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Day 1 Discussion

Strong radiational cooling will allow for cold temperatures at
sunrise, with many locations in the 30s. Some record low
temperatures are expected.

Day 1 Hazards
No Hazards.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Days 2-7 Discussion

Isolated thunderstorms are possible near the Colorado/Kansas
border Thursday evening, with more scattered thunderstorms
possible across the northern zones Thursday night. There is a
limited/marginal risk that some of these storms may be severe,
with large hail and damaging winds.

Additional thunderstorm potential is expected on Friday.
Thunderstorms that initiate in eastern Colorado Friday afternoon
are expected to organize into a complex of thunderstorms and enter
western Kansas Friday night. Some of these storms are expected to
be severe, with large hail and damaging winds.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will remain possible on
Saturday, but the threat of severe weather will be diminished.
