This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Accumulating snow is becoming increasingly likely across the
Northland late Saturday night into Sunday. Snow amounts between 2
and 5 inches appear possible across a large part of the
Northland, although the exact area where the greatest snow will
fall is still uncertain at this time. However, impacts to travel
could occur late Saturday night and Sunday across much of the

A second round of accumulating snow is possible from Monday into
Tuesday as another strong weather disturbance moves from the
Plains to the Great Lakes region. The most likely area for snow
accumulations causing impacts to travel on Monday and Tuesday
would be over far eastern Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin. While
it is too early to determine the exact placement of this potential
storm and snowfall amounts, anyone with travel plans across the
region early next week is encouraged to stay current with the
latest weather information over the next several days.


Skywarn Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
