...GALE FORCE WINDS EXPECTED WEDNESDAY...

.A STRONG LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL TRACK NORTHEAST ACROSS THE
MIDWEST AND INTO THE CENTRAL GREAT LAKES TUESDAY NIGHT THROUGH
WEDNESDAY NIGHT. THIS SYSTEM WILL PRODUCE VERY STRONG WINDS AND
HEAVY RAINFALL. WINDS WILL INCREASE OUT OF THE EAST TUESDAY NIGHT
AND SHIFT TO THE NORTHEAST EARLY ON WEDNESDAY...EVENTUALLY
BACKING TO THE NORTH LATE WEDNESDAY. EXPECT SUSTAINED WINDS 25 TO
35 KNOTS AND GUSTS 35 TO 45 KNOTS. WAVES WILL BUILD TO 7 TO
10 FEET...WITH THE HIGHEST WAVES EXPECTED ALONG THE SOUTH SHORE.

* WINDS...SUSTAINED NORTHEAST WINDS 25 TO 35 KNOTS ARE EXPECTED
  EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING THROUGH WEDNESDAY EVENING.

* WIND GUSTS...WIND GUSTS WILL INCREASE WEDNESDAY MORNING TO 35
  TO 40 KNOTS.

* WAVES/SEAS...WAVE HEIGHTS WILL INCREASE TO 5 TO 8 FEET ALONG
  THE NORTH SHORE...AND UP TO 7 TO 10 FEET ALONG THE SOUTH SHORE
  WEDNESDAY.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A GALE WATCH IS ISSUED WHEN THE RISK OF GALE FORCE WINDS OF 34 TO
47 KNOTS HAS SIGNIFICANTLY INCREASED...BUT THE SPECIFIC TIMING
AND/OR LOCATION IS STILL UNCERTAIN. IT IS INTENDED TO PROVIDE
ADDITIONAL LEAD TIME FOR MARINERS WHO MAY WISH TO CONSIDER
ALTERING THEIR PLANS.
