precipitation over the next 24 hours.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you encounter a flooded area...turn around and find an alternate
route. Turn around...do not drown.

...Flood Warning now in effect until late Tuesday evening...

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Iowa River near Rowan...or From Belmond...to Dows.
* Until late Tuesday evening.
* At 9:00 PM Saturday the stage was 14.4 feet...or 1.9 feet above
  Flood Stage.
* Flood Stage is 12.5 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and is forecast to continue.
* Forecast...the river reached a preliminary crest of 14.47 feet at
  4:30 PM today. The river is now falling and will go below Flood
  Stage late Tuesday evening.
* Impact...At 14.5 feet...190th St. just west of Reed Ave impassible.
  Road covered by over 300 yards of water. Water over much of
  bridge.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Iowa River at Marshalltown...or From Minerva Creek near
  Albion...to Timber Creek near Le Grand.
* Until Tuesday morning.
* At 9:00 PM Saturday the stage was 17.7 feet...or 1.3 feet below
  Flood Stage.
* Flood Stage is 19.0 feet.
* No flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...rise to Flood Stage Monday evening. Remain near flood
  stage through Tuesday morning before beginning to fall.
* Impact...At 19.5 feet...The southbound lanes of Iowa 14 flood. Iowa
  330 south of Albion floods.

  The Iowa River near Tama Hwy E49...or From Timber Creek near Le
  Grand...to Salt Creek near Belle Plaine.
* Until Friday evening.
* At 9:00 PM Saturday the stage was 11.7 feet...or 0.8 feet below
  Flood Stage.
* Flood Stage is 12.5 feet.
* No flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...rise to Flood Stage Tuesday evening. Continue rising to
  13.0 feet...or 0.5 feet above Flood Stage...early Thursday
  morning. Then begin falling and go below Flood Stage Friday
  evening.
* Impact...At 13.0 feet...Water may begin affecting the outside lanes
  of portions of US 30. Water covers several county roads.
